All alone with the memory...

Memory...turn your face to the moonlight...

I hope all of you lovelies had a wonderful Mother's Day. This past week has been f-u-n. No, seriously. I'm not even being sarcastic a little bit.

Okay, maybe a little.

It was a no go on the braces for the kid because - SURPRISE - the ortho wants her to see an oral surgeon so she can have some kind of surgery to widen her palate instead of just using the palate widener. See what I mean about fun?! Also, wasn't that the most well constructed sentence you evah read in your life?! Word.

I was also forced to sell my precious memories at a garage sale on Saturday. I was quite proud that I only rescued one bag full of things that I absolutely could not live without (mostly stuffed animals). Of course, part of the reason it was only one bag was that when I went inside to get out of the heat...I fell asleep. It was during my delicious nap in a wonderfully cool room on a leather couch that the organization we donated the leftovers to arrived to scoop them up. MY MEMORIES!!! NO!!!

I dried my tears the next day by shopping for new memories. We sorta-kinda finished our registry and there were just some things that I could not leave behind. NO CUTE THINGS GET LEFT BEHIND! COME ON!

Mostly things that are found right here in this picture:

Adorable, amirite?

I am paying for my escapades this weekend with a sore back and legs.

WORTH IT.

Until next time, I am ever cordially your (probably) favorite once a week (mostly) blogger.
